LF푸드의 지난해 매출은 금융감독원 전자공시시스템(DART)에 따르면, 전년대비 70% 가량 급증한 623억원의 매출을 올렸다.지난해 LF 식품사업의 호실적을 견인한 건 LF푸드가 2017년 인수한 해외 식자재 전문 국내 유통업체 모노링크 사업 부문이다. 당초 모노링크는 일본, 태국, 베트남 등 해외 식자재를 국내 식당 사업자 대상의 B2B 회원제 매장이었다. 하지만 지난해 B2C 매장으로 서비스를 확장했다.
모노링크는 B2B에서 B2C로 변화하는 유통시장의 흐름에 대응하며 지난해에만 10개점을 오픈, 현재 전국적으로 50여개의 매장을 운영 중이다. 서울지역 논현점, 방배점, 잠실점, 홍대점 등을 운영하고 있다.
특히 LF푸드는 급성장하는 HMR 사업 강화를 위해 지난해 말 육가공 제조업체 '엘티엠푸드'와 이 회사의 도소매 종속 법인 '네이쳐푸드'를 인수했다. 엘티엠푸드는 돈까스, 탕수육 등 육류를 가공한 냉동식품을 제조하는 전문업체다.
자체 HMR 배송 전문 온라인몰 '모노키친' 론칭
LF푸드는 지난해 인수한 엘티엠푸드의 기존 육가공 식품제조 구축 라인을 기반으로, 지난 1월말 육가공 제조업에 직접 뛰어들며, 자체 HMR 배송 전문 온라인몰 모노키친을 론칭했다. 이는 오프라인에서 온라인으로 변화하는 유통·식품 시장 변화에 맞춰 변신을 시도한 것이다.

오더플러스를 운영하는 엑스바엑스와 주방뱅크는 지난 24일 서울시 중구 엑스바엑스 본사에서 업무협약을 위한 양해각서(MOU)를 체결했다고 29일 밝혔다.
이번 협약식은 ‘식당이 살아야 나라가 산다’라는 상생 슬로건 아래 엑스바엑스 박상진 대표와 주방뱅크 강동원 회장 등이 참석했다.
이번 MOU는 오더플러스의 식자재 유통 플랫폼 기술과 30여년 주방사업을 위해 한길만 걸어온 주방뱅크의 노하우가 만나 보다 싼 가격에 질 좋은 주방용품을 공급하기 위해 맺어졌다.
